How do I order a sample before placing a bulk order?
Send the specification or a reference photo, confirm the hair, ferrule, handle and finish, and approve a sample. Standard sample lead time is 7–10 days. Approve the sample in writing — it becomes the production standard for the bulk order.
What to send
The most useful brief is a reference: a photo, a drawing, or a physical brush. Add the details you already know — hair type, overall length, ferrule diameter, handle material, colour, and where the logo goes. If you do not know a dimension, say so; a sample can be made to the rest and the gap filled after you handle it.
Stock sample or made-to-spec
A stock style can often be sent quickly because it already exists. A made-to-spec sample is built to your brief and takes the standard 7–10 days. For a first order, comparing both is the fastest way to judge what the price difference buys.
What approval means
Approval is not a formality. Once approved, the sample becomes the reference for the production run: hair grade, fill weight, ferrule fit, handle colour and print position. Keep a photo of the approved sample with the date, and reference it on the purchase order.
Common questions
How long does a sample take?
Standard sample lead time is 7–10 days from an agreed specification.
Can I order a sample with my logo?
Yes, and it is worth doing if the logo position matters. Printing setup is usually the reason to sample a branded version rather than a plain one.
